Confucius Temple witnesses wish-making before college entrance test

The College Entrance Examination is to kick off on Jun. 7. Many candidates and parents are seen at the Confucius Temple in Nanjing, Jun. 5, in a pleasant wish that the candidate make good performance in the exams.

The Confucius Temple, also known as Fuzimiao in Chinese, is a place to worship Confucius, a great philosopher and educator of ancient China. The building used to be the venue of the imperial examination and imperial academy in the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties.
