Leifeng inspire free physical checkups from Int'l students

International students of School of International Education(SIE), Nantong University,inspired by a compassionate model Chinese soldier,Lei Feng,provided physical checkups for local residents in Qixiu community ,Nantong City, East China's Jiangsu province,on Mar 4,2018./VCG Photo

The students of clinical medicine,from Namibia ,India,provided blood pressure measurement services and health consultations for local residents .

Lei, a transport soldier of the People's Liberation Army, was always ready to help others. He died in a car accident at the age of 22 in 1962. On March 5, 1963, top leaders, including Chairman Mao Zedong, called on the nation to learn from Lei. The day is marked every year with good deeds nationwide.
