Jiangsu arts and crafts website goes live

Inheritors of intangible cultural heritages, government officials and president of Xinhua Daily attended the launch ceremony.

Initiated by Xinhua Daily Media Group and sponsored by the Cultural Development Fund of Jiangsu province, the website “Hundred crafts of Jiangsu” featuring Jiangsu workmanship was launched in Nanjing, Jiangsu province on Jan. 3, 2018. Its Android and IOS versions also went live in the meantime.

"'Hundred crafts of Jiangsu’ stands for various schools of workmanship in Jiangsu province. With the integration of Xinhua omnimedia art museum, gallery and outdoors screen display, it will be a platform of information, exhibition and online trading of the artworks made by masters and talents of arts and crafts," said Shuang Chuanxue, editor-in-chief of Xinhua Daily.

National-level inheritors of Nanjing brocade, Nantong wood carving and indigo print fabric, Yixing purple clay teapots and Suzhou embroidery were invited to the launch ceremony.
