An international media group of over 20 reporters from 12 countries started a five-day long journey to explore Jiangsu on the morning of September 8, 2017.

The media group will visit the high-end technological centers of CRRC in Nanjing and Supercomputing in Wuxi, have a close look at cultural heritages such as the Great Canal and Su Embroidery, and enjoy the amazing natural scenery during these days.

For most of the international media staff, this is their first time in Jiangsu or even in China. They all agree that Jiangsu is better than they expected and China is one developed industrial hub in the world.

After taking a test train of Shanghai Metro Line 13 at CRRC Nanjing Puzhen Company, Shreejana and Dambar with “Nepali Times” were very excited, since there is no train or tram back in Nepal. However, Thasong Asvasena from Thailand felt a little disappointed, because he failed to get enough footage for a perfect video due to the noise in the workshop. In spite of this, he was very glad to see this country in person. “I did some research on Internet before I came here. So far China has met all my expectation, even better in the modernization part,” said Thasong, looking forward to the following trips.

Co-organized by the Information Office of the Jiangsu Provincial Government and China Daily, this activity aims to show the world a complete picture of Jiangsu’s development.
