Huai'an approved to build "National Model City for Good Quality"

Huai'an stood out from 32 applicant cities nationwide, and was officially approved to build itself into a "National Model City for Good Quality" a few days ago.

Hosted by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection, and Quarantine (AQSIQ), the campaign to build the "National Model City for Good Quality" aims to improve the urban development quality in an all-round way.

Huai'an city has 3 China Top Brands, and 24 China's Well-known Trademarks, as well as 43 national high-quality projects, 5 state-level water conservancy areas, and 48 provincial high-quality projects, etc. Its urban green coverage rate reaches 41%. In the 8 centralized drinking-water sources in its municipal districts, the water qualification rate reaches 100%. Its excellent and good rate of air quality comes out top nationwide.
