Speaking of the folk traditional fabric art, you may think of sachets and tiger-head shoes. However, Tang Hongying, a woman living in Tongjian community of Xuzhou city, began to create stereoscopic fabric figures after retiring, which are very popular.

Tang, 58-years-old, started learning needlework at age 11, and she was able to make clothes when she was 12.

She has been starting to create fabric figures since she retired eight years ago.

Using goose quills as fingernails, slitting the cloth into threads as hairs and dust as well as wearable clothes and shoes, all those details reflect her originality.
