The archives of Nanjing Massacre were listed in the "Memory of the World Register" on Oct 10. East of Nanjing, a large-scale documentary feature film directed and made by Zhu Cheng, a young director from Wuxi, also wrapped on this day after three years of work.

The team went to a number of countries such as the U.S. and Japan, and interviewed a number of survivors of the Nanjing Massacre for this 60-minute documentary feature film, and presented the life stories of these survivors and war witnesses in a story-telling and condensed way.

"The film will be launched on video websites before the memorial day of the Nanjing Massacre which is December 13 this year to commemorate the Nanjing Massacre." said Chen Xi, producer of the film.

The film producer also edited a 30-minute version which will be shown on the Berlin International Film Festival.
