National Day holiday sees surge in passenger flows, tourist revenue

A total of 705 million tourists traveled around the country during the National holiday, generating 583.6 billion yuan (about 87.7 billion U.S. dollars) of revenue, according to the China National Tourism Administration (CNTA).
