A total of 40 female teachers, who specifically wear cheongsams, have held a fashion show at the Southeast University (SEU). The event, held on June 3, was organized to celebrate the 115th birthday of the university.

SEU, formerly known as the Sanjiang Normal School and founded in 1902, was officially established as the State-run Southeast University in 1921, which was one of the only two state-run universities in China at that time. It was since renamed the State-run Central University in 1928. In 1988, the university adopted its current name – Southeast University.
