Over 70 Int’l museum pundits to gather in Nanjing

News came on May 9 that the First International Museum Curator Forum will be held from May 26 to 28, when more than 70 international curators, experts and scholars join over 60 domestic counterparts in Nanjing to discuss key issues of the development of the museums in the new era. Academic meetings related to the Belt and Road Initiative will also be arranged.

In the forum, the "History of Museums" special exhibition will be held at the Nanjing Museum (Chaotian Palace). It will display more than 50 collections from the Uffizi Gallery in Italy, the National Museum of the Middle Ages in France, Carnavalet Museum in Paris, Glyptothek in Bavaria, Germany and more museums. Classic cultural relics, art works, and literature in the history of the development of Chinese museums will also be presented. The exhibition will open from May 27 to August 26.
