Crayfish cooking competition opens in Xuyi

The final of the 18th China Xuyi International Crayfish Festival cooking contest was held in Xuyi County on the morning of June 16, attracting more than 30 competitors to present a crayfish feast pleasant both for eyes and palate.

Chefs tried all their best in the competition that started at 9 am, filling the air with mouthwatering smells.

After the final reviews by the experts group, two golden-prize winners stood out along with three silver-prize winners and five bronze-prize winners. In addition, 10 restaurants won the title of Best Ten Businesses.

As a centerpiece of the crayfish festival, chefs also took the chance to show their cooking skills. With the festival, hundreds of top chefs promoted crayfish dishes to every corner of the world, bringing more authentic, ecological and high-quality crayfish to the dining tables of millions of families.
