Major parks in Huai'an became the main destinations for citizens during the Spring Festival holiday.

Data showed, as of noon of Feb. 10, the last day of the week-long Spring Festival holiday, the city's major parks had received more than 300,000 visitors, including about 180,000 in Chuxiu Park, 45,000 in the Rose Garden, about 35,000 in the Bochi Mountain scenic area, 30,000 in Liushuwan and Taohuawu areas, and 18,000 in the zoo.

An official with Huai’an Bureau of Parks said, to meet the needs of tourists in the public holiday, many parks in the city organized festive activities, such as the exhibition of children's calligraphy and painting works in Bochi Mountain scenic area, couplets show in the Chuxiu Park and flowers show in the Rose Garden. These activities attracted many visitors. The number of tourists would be much higher if not for the rain and snow in the 7-day holiday.
