Changzhou has added two more national wetland parks, Jiangsu media reported on January 10, citing the 2018 acceptance result on national wetland parks released by the State Administration of Forestry and Grassland.

The two Changzhou winners are the wetland parks located at the Tianmu Lake in Liyang and the Changdang Lake in Jintan District.

The Tianmu Lake National Wetland Park boasts 402 species of plants, seven of which are national key protected plants, 319 species of vertebrates and 28 species of birds under Class-II national protection.

Changdang Lake National Wetland Park is home to 180 species of phytoplankton, 69 species of fish, shrimps and crabs, and more than 90 species of birds.

A total of 112 pilot national wetland parks passed the latest test and officially became the “National Wetland Park”, according to the State Administration of Forestry and Grassland. Editor:Dylan
