The 2018 Jiangsu Cross-border E-Commerce Summit was held recently in Nanjing, attracting more than 500 participants from online shopping platforms, supply chain, logistics, finance, business and other sectors. They exchanged ideas on hot topics about development of e-commerce across borders.

Jiangsu now ranks among the first tier of regions with strong e-commerce in China. Three cities – Nanjing, Suzhou and Wuxi – have been designated to conduct comprehensive experimental zones for the sector’s development. Jiangsu’s e-commerce exporters accounted for about 11.3 percent of the country’s total. The province’s customers in cross-border online shopping accounted for 6.88 percent of the total number in China, third highest in the country.
