A freight train loaded with grains produced in Kazakhstan arrived at Sino-Kazakhstan (Lianyungang) Logistics Base, Feb. 5.

The grain is to be exported to Vietnam by shipping from Lianyungang. Another four freight trains are expected to transit to the Southeast Asian market through China in the next two months.

Kazakhstan is the biggest grain exporter in central Asia. The export channel through Lianyungang, which started operation in February of 2017, can help shorten the transport time and cut the freight in China by 30%.
