During the ongoing 2017 World Internet of Things Exposition, which opened in Wuxi, East China’s Jiangsu province on Sunday, various enterprises are showcasing their most advanced internet of things applications and products.

One eye-catching exhibit, “Smart Internet-connected Concept Car” illustrates unmanned driving in the future, as the vehicle has neither a steering wheel nor rearview mirrors and can automatically carry passengers to their destinations by choosing the most optimum route.

A smart rehabilitation robot can assist patients with broken legs to recover by raising their initiative. With the help of the robot, a physiotherapist can send instructions according to the data displayed on a screen, and patients can see these instructions from their respective screens and raise their determination (Note: I think 'determination' is a better word here, but if this is wrong, change it back) completing these instructions. The robot’s specific dynamic weight-adjusting system can allow patients to receive comfortable rehabilitation training after completing patient assessments, which can limit patients’ training on knee joints or hip joints within a reasonable scope.

What patients with cardiovascular diseases worry about most is a sudden attack of acute chest pain. An ambulance-borne device called the “China Chest Pain Center” can complete all necessary patient check-ups and monitor a patient's real-time vital signs, which can be immediately shown on a hospital screen, before the ambulance arrives at a hospital. In addition, the device can conduct a vital signs assessment and an ECG examination every 5 and 10 minutes, respectively. After the patient arrives at the hospital, all patient reports have been saved in the hospital’s system for doctors’ diagnoses, which can save a large amount of rescue, treatment and operation time for the patient.
