The COM Service Center opened at No. 213 Yulong South Road in Changzhou City on December 5, providing comprehensive, non-profit services for foreigners working and living in the city.

The center has made a number of firsts in Yangzhou, as the first Co-Working Space (COM) for expats, home to the first international volunteers team, the first foreign-related legal consultation center, and the first cultural experience center for international students. It’s also the only service center for foreigners in the city’s Zhonglou District.

The center plans to build a Co-Working Space for foreign entrepreneurs and offer coordinated, cooperative service to foreign-invested start-ups, small and medium-sized enterprises, and multinational projects. Among other measures, a WeChat public account, COMchn, will recommend policy and information in both Chinese and English on basic necessities of life, such as food and transportation. Changzhou International Volunteers Team will also be established at the center to help expats engage in volunteering activities.
