Shanghai delegation visits Jiangsu

Li Qiang, member of the political bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the CPC Shanghai Committee, and Ying Yong, deputy secretary of the CPC Shanghai Committee and mayor of Shanghai, led the Shanghai delegation to visit Jiangsu December 6-7.

Lou Qinjian, secretary of the CPC Jiangsu committee, and Wu Zhenglong, deputy secretary of the CPC Jiangsu committee and governor of Jiangsu, met with the delegation.

Li Qiang hoped to further improve the quality of cooperation in the Yangtze River Delta, build a unified, open and coordinated market at a faster pace, and let the Yangtze River Delta play a bigger role in national development.

Lou Qinjian hoped Shanghai can fully exert its advantages in sea transport, railway and aviation and strongly support Jiangsu in its role as the confluence point of the Belt and Road routes. He also looked forward to closer cooperation with Shanghai in building the national demonstration zone of innovation in south Jiangsu.

The Shanghai delegation visited Jiangsu Provincial Government Service Center and Industrial Technology Research Institute, and made detailed inquiries about the measures Jiangsu has adopted to reform the administrative approval system and the technological innovation system.
