The Nanjing Planning Bureau held a press conference on the reform of planning services Nov 9. Of the 103 planning elements, many were newly added livelihood facilities urgently needed by the residents.

According to a source from the Nanjing Planning Bureau, when mothers take their children out, they usually cannot find a nursery, so public facilities such as large scenic areas, train stations, airports, business centers and hospitals will all have at least a 6-square meter nursery in the future when the area reaches 5,000 square meters, and the nursery should be 10 square meters larger for every extra 5,000 square meters of the facility.

Package delivery has become an integral part of everyday life. In this round of planning service reform, it was made clear newly built communities will have at least a 25-square meter package room to better help the residents send and receive packages.
